# Shipping Settings and Prioritization

## This article explains where to configure shipping settings and which settings take priority. Delivery time can be set for products, but shipping profiles in Otto provide more detailed control and take precedence.

### English:

### 1. Setting Delivery Time

- In our system, **Delivery Time** represents the time (in whole numbers) required for a product to reach the customer.
- Examples of valid inputs: **10, 5, 3**.
- This setting is defined per product.

### 2. Configuring Shipping Profiles in Otto

- Otto allows creating **shipping profiles**, which provide additional customization.
- Shipping profiles allow adjustments such as:
  
    - **Carrier selection**.
    - **Handling time modifications**.
    - **Warehouse cut-off times**.
- If a shipping profile is created in **Otto OPC**, it can be assigned to products after upload:
  
    - Navigate to **Products** -\> **Assign Profile**.
    - Assign different shipping profiles to different SKUs.

- **Shipping profiles take precedence over the delivery time setting**.
- Different shipping profiles can be assigned for:
  
    - Bulky goods.
    - Special shipping methods.
- Each SKU can be linked to a specific shipping profile, overriding the general delivery time setting.

### **4. Modifications to Shipping Time**

If the current delivery times are insufficient and need to be adjusted or extended, you can update them in the existing shipping profiles. To do so, navigate to the shipping profiles, click on “Edit” for the relevant profile, and enter the new shipping time under the “Shipping Time” section.

- Die **Lieferzeit** gibt an, wie lange ein Produkt in ganzen Tagen benötigt, um den Kunden zu erreichen.
- Mögliche Werte: **10, 5, 3**.
- Diese Einstellung wird direkt im Produkt vorgenommen.

### 2. Versandprofile in Otto konfigurieren

- Otto bietet **Versandprofile**, die eine genauere Anpassung ermöglichen.
- Über Versandprofile kann man:
  
    - **Versanddienstleister auswählen**.
    - **Bearbeitungszeiten anpassen**.
    - **Cut-Off-Zeiten des Lagers festlegen**.
- Falls ein Versandprofil im **Otto OPC** erstellt wurde, kann es nach dem Produkt-Upload zugewiesen werden:
  
    - Unter **Produkte** -\> **Profil zuweisen**.
    - Individuelle Versandprofile können für unterschiedliche SKUs hinterlegt werden.

### 3. Priorität der Versand-Einstellungen

- **Versandprofile sind dominanter als die Lieferzeit**.
- Verschiedene Profile können für:
  
    - Packet.
    - Spezielle Versandarten.
- Jedes SKU kann ein eigenes Versandprofil erhalten, wodurch die allgemeine Lieferzeit überschrieben wird.

### 4. Änderungen der Versandzeit

Falls die Lieferzeiten nicht ausreichend sind und die Lieferzeiten geändert oder verlängert werden möchten, so kann man hier in den Versandprofilen bei den bereits bestehenden Versandprofilen auf Bearbeiten klicken und dort unter Versandzeit die neue Zeit eintragen.
